THAT Council direct staff to submit comments to the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks through the Environmental Registry of Ontario (ERO) in support of future amendments to the Blue Box Regulation (O.Reg 391.21) under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 that would permit Producer Responsible Organizations (PRO's) to work with Municipalities to continue the collection of non-eligible sources that are located along residential routes.
