Regular Meeting of Council

THAT the Regular Meeting of Council Agenda dated December 2nd, 2025, be approved as amended to: add 3(e) - Murder Investigation in Montague Township - Potential Costing; and move 8(b) Firehouse Subs Press Release, (d) E-Mail from Tony Hendricks, (e) E- Mail from Kanata Medical, (f) Lanark County Letter re: Harvest Festival, (g) Lanark County Media Release re: Inaugural Meeting, and (l) Real World Learning Recognition Certificate, from Information to Action.

THAT the minutes from the Regular Meeting of Council dated November 18th, 2025, be approved as presented this date.

THAT the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan presentation by Mary Kate Laphen, CEO of the Merrickville Public Library, be accepted as information.

THAT the report from the Montague Recreation Culture Committee be received as information; AND THAT Council approves the Yuk Yuks expenditure of $2,900.00, as noted in the MRCC report, for WinterFest 2026.

Page 2 of 6 THAT Council approves Option 1 in relation to the internal posting for the Senior Active Living Centre Co-Ordinator position as presented this date.

THAT Council approves Option 1 in relation to the request for an extended payment plan and relief of interest for Roll No. 0901 000 025 29104.

THAT Council defers the request for an approval to remove the commercial assessment coding from the 2020, 2021 and 2022 taxation years for Roll No. 0901 000 010 30400 as applied for under Section 358 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25.

THAT Council accepts the information presented in relation to the Murder Investigation OPP costing as information; AND THAT Council directs Staff as per Option 3 presented this date.

THAT By-law 4181-2025, being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Development Agreement with Analise Lamb and Jesse Lamb, be read a first, second & third time & passed, signed & sealed this 2nd day of December, 2025.
