Regular Meeting of Council

THAT the Regular Meeting of Council agenda dated March 4th, 2025, be approved as presented this date.

THAT Council accepts the presentation by Anne-Marie Martincich, Director of the Montague Extended Program, as information.

THAT Council accepts the presentation by Cherie Meunier, regarding the proposed delegation of authority to MLES, as information.

THAT Council award tender PW-C-09-2025-E0 to Miller Paving Limited in the amount of $178,487.04 inclusive of non-refundable HST; Page 2 of 5 AND THAT Council approve a slight variation in the costing depending on the actual micro-surface applied as this may differ slightly based on the actual width and length applied; AND FURTHER THAT Council approves the use of Canada Community Benefit Funds (CCBF) reserve in the amount of $28,500.00 for the additional costs to the 2025 budget.

THAT Council award Tender No. 2025-PW-01 for the Burchill Road Culvert Replacement to Goldie Mohr Ltd. in the amount of $141,700.00 including HST ($127,605.24 including non-refundable HST); AND THAT Council authorize the Public Works Manager to approve change orders that may result in additional costs up to the total budget amount of $150,000.00, with a final report to Council.

THAT Council declare the current lawn mower surplus and allot the proceeds for a replacement mower if needed; AND THAT Council approve Option 1 as presented this date.

THAT Council accept the Reports of MRCC, Merrickville Public Library and Smiths Falls Public Library as presented this date.

THAT Council provide notice to the MRCC that they will cook the meal at the 2025 Easter Breakfast event at Rosedale Hall on April 12th, 2025.
