Regular Meeting of Council

That Council agree to move items 9. a), i), l) and q) from Information Items to Action Items for discussion.

That the Regular Meeting of Council agenda dated Tuesday August 18th, 2015 be approved.

That the minutes of the regular meeting of July 21st, 2015 be approved as circulated

That the minutes of the Special meeting of Tuesday August 4th, 2015 be approved as circulated.

That Council approve the minutes of the Committee of the Whole meeting on Tuesday July 21st, 2015 and approve the recommendations contained within.

That this Council, at 6:21 p.m., moves to “In Camera” as per S.239 of the Municipal Act S.O. 2001 c.25 in order to address two items: b) Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees. Specifically, appointments to local boards; and (b) Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees. (d) Labour relations or employee negotiations; Specifically, CAO contract discussion.

That Council direct staff to bring forward a report regarding the potential sale of Township land on Industrial Road for the September 1st, 2015 meeting.

That Council direct staff to bring forward a report regarding hiring policies at the September 15th meeting.

That the Council of the Township of Montague hereby support MPP Randy Pettapiece's private members resolution concerning fairness in provincial infrastructure funding.

That By-law 3481-2015, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its regular meeting held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015; BE READ A FIRST, SECOND & THIRD TIME & PASSED, SIGNED & SEALED THIS 18th DAY OF AUGUST 2015.

That this meeting do now adjourn at 7:15 p.m. until Tuesday, September 1st 2015 at 6:00 p.m. or until the Call of the Reeve, subject to need.
