Montague Recreation Culture Committee Meeting

THAT the MRCC approve the agenda of May 25th, 2026, as presented this date.

THAT the MRCC approve the minutes from April 27th, 2026, as presented this date.

THAT the MRCC agrees to:  assist with looking after the food and beverages, barbecuing, etc.  facepainting  other: buttons, Connect 4, colouring pages, etc. AND THAT $0.00 be allocated for this event.

THAT the MRCC receive the Mighty Machines event verbal update as presented this date; AND THAT this information be added to the Action Tracking List. Suggestions for door prizes: tickets for upcoming event such as Monster Truck, Disney on Ice, etc., and bike from car group.

THAT the MRCC receive the verbal update from Kat Khoury regarding the School Volleyball league. AND THAT the MRCC approve a budget up to $150.00 for food for the end of the year volleyball league social.

THAT Kim Moffit assume responsibility for changing the information on the sign at Rosedale Hall, to advertise upcoming community events.

THAT the MRCC receive the information provided by Brandy in regard to line dancing with DJ Johnny 5.

THAT Brandy Attewell and John Johnston be selected as the leaders for Winterfest 2027, scheduled for January 29th and 30th, 2027.

THAT the MRCC accept the changes discussed this date to be added to the Action Tracking List.

THAT the MRCC confirms all direction as agreed to at the meeting of May 25th, 2026, and forwards that direction to Council for final approval.

THAT the MRCC adjourn their meeting of May 25th, 2026, at 7:00pm, until Monday, June 22nd, 2026, at 6:00pm, or at the Call of the Chair.
